The new black-and-gold cards are in packs. It’s a solid week with a clear standout headliner and some budget gems that might actually crack your starting XI.
Moise Kean (86 ST): The headliner. Strong, fast, and direct. He finally feels powerful in the box and is a nightmare for defenders who can't handle the physical battle.
Anderson Talisca (85 CAM): The flair option. Don't let the rating fool you; he has 5-star flair, dangerous long shots, and great shooting stats that make him a perfect attacking midfielder.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (83 ST): A classic budget beast. Fast, strong, and clinical finishing makes him a cheap meta option for Premier League squads.
Keane Lewis-Potter (83 LM): A responsive winger with great agility. Excellent value for wide play.
...and the fillers: Huth, Renard, Süle, Miley, Flekken.

Best Cards: Talisca and Kean are the real winners here. Talisca’s unique body type and shooting always play above his stats.
Value: Calvert-Lewin is the cheap PL meta pick of the week.
Trash: Huth (86 GK) and Renard (86 CB). Huth doesn't perform in-game, and Renard is simply too slow and stiff for the current power curve.

Icons Are Taking Over Christmas
The leaks are flooding in for the upcoming Winter Wildcards teams. EA is dropping the hammer with some massive Icon upgrades that are going to shake the meta.
Thierry Henry (93 ST & 86 ST): The King is back. Expect blistering pace and finishing on the 93 version. There's also a lower-rated version leaking, likely a dual-release.
Zico (92 CAM & 87 CAM): A massive boost for the Brazilian legend. 5-star skills and elite dribbling are guaranteed.
Lothar Matthäus (91 CM): The ultimate box-to-box midfielder. He’s going to run the midfield for months.
Patrick Vieira (90 CM & 86 CM): The midfield boss. Expect high physicals and long legs that intercept everything.
Other notables: Puskás (93 ST), Cafu (92 RB), Cannavaro (90 CB), and Miyama (91 LM).
SBC Spotlight
We have a massive dump of player SBCs and a gamble pack today. Here is where you should put your fodder:
Thibaut Courtois (90 GK, ~76K) — Must Do. This is the SBC of the day. At 76k, you're getting a 6'7" giant with 90 Handling and 91 Reflexes. He is going to be OP in-game, and everyone will be running him. Do not overthink this; complete him.
Joe Gomez (87 RB, ~192K) — Luxury. He has the Anticipate PlayStyle+ and great defensive stats, but 192k is steep for a fullback who lacks elite attacking output. Only do this if you need the Liverpool/English links or have untradeable fodder burning a hole in your pocket.
Emre Can (86 CDM, ~70K) — Maybe. A solid, well-rounded defensive midfielder with all stats above 80. He’s decent value at 70k if you run a Bundesliga squad, but he won't change your life.
Robin Le Normand (87 CB, ~70K) — Pass. He has good defensive stats (88 Def), but with 81 Pace and Okay agility, he’s nothing special. Save your fodder for Courtois.
87+ Campaign Mix Upgrade (~42K) — Gamble. It’s reasonably priced, but the weight on these packs has been average. If you're feeling lucky on Christmas Eve, rip it, but expect to see something behind the power curve.
