TOTW 19 Predictions
Based on the latest performance data, here are the headliners you should be looking out for on Wednesday:
Bryan Mbeumo (87 ST): The pace merchant. With 90 Pace and 87 Shooting, he looks like a nightmare for high-line defenses. If he gets the right PlayStyles, he is more than just fodder.
Adrien Rabiot (87 CM): A Gullit Gang contender. 80+ in almost every face stat makes him the perfect box-to-box midfielder for Serie A/French hybrids. Solid, reliable, and likely fairly cheap.
Paulo Dybala (87 CAM): The Jewel is back. 88 Dribbling and 86 Shooting means his finesse shots will be dangerous. He lacks physical (42 Def, 65 Phy), but in the hands of a dribbler, he is elite.
Ragnar Ache (86 ST): 94 Pace. That is the only stat that matters here. A super-sub option for those who play direct.
Gonçalo Guedes (86 LM): A well-rounded winger with 88 Pace and 89 Dribbling.
Verdict: It’s a solid TOTW, but maybe not a game-breaking one. Save your high-value packs for TOTY, but these cards will be great for SBC fodder or niche squads.
Objectives Grind: Ultimate Gauntlet 9
The grind is back, and Ultimate Gauntlet 9 is arguably the best objective set we've seen in weeks. The rewards are heavily weighted towards high-rated fodder, which is exactly what you need right now.
Group Reward: TOTY Honourable Mention Scott McTominay (90 CM). This isn't just a collection piece. He is a 90 OVR beast with 90 Physical, 89 Shooting, and 86 Dribbling. He has the Lengthy accelerate type and looks like a dominant midfield presence.
The Loot: The pack return for completing the tasks is massive for TOTY crafting:

Verdict: Mandatory Grind. You get a 90-rated meta midfielder and a stockpile of 86+ and 87+ fodder packs. Start this today. You need to "Score in 12 separate matches" to get the big 87+ pack, so pace yourself.
SBC Spotlight
EA dropped three high-profile player SBCs today. We reviewed the stats and the costs to see if they fit the power curve.
Michael Olise (90 RM, ~585k) — Debatable. He is a luxury player. The stats are undeniable with 95 Vision and 93 Short Pass, but 585k is a steep price tag during TOTY. Unless you need a specific French/Prem playmaker, save your fodder for better value.
Jeremie Frimpong (90 RB, ~400k) — Good Value. You are paying for pure speed with 97 Pace and exceptional recovery. While he lacks multiple PlayStyle+ options, he is a safe craft for anyone needing a rapid right-back who can recover from anywhere.
Sakina Karchaoui (90 CM, ~207k) — Must Do. This is the steal of the day. For just over 200k, you get a versatile Swiss Army Knife with 5-star skills, 92 Pace, and elite dribbling. She fits almost any squad and offers incredible value compared to the market.
Leaked SBCs: Keep holding some fodder. Leaks are still pointing towards Francesco Totti and Sissi arriving later in the cycle.

The market has woken up. After a weekend lull, we are seeing a massive spike in fodder prices as players rush to complete the new SBCs (especially the Icon Gamble SBCs and the new player drops).
The Spike:
Index 84: Up 29.40%
Index 85: Up 32.31%
Buying: The window to buy 84s and 85s has slammed shut. Do not buy fodder right now; you are paying a premium.
Selling: SELL EVERYTHING RATED 84-85. If you have tradeable fodder in this range, list it immediately. Prices have jumped 30% in hours. Take the profit and hold the coins for the inevitable TOTY lightning round crashes later in the week.
Hold: High-rated meta cards (Gold Mbappe, etc.) are stabilizing. If you have them, keep them.
Evolutions
We have two new paid Evos today. Are they worth your coins?
Strike Like Kylian (50,000 Coins / 400 FC Points)
Upgrades: +12 OVR (Max 88), +25 Pace.
The Play: The requirements are restrictive (Max 86 OVR, Max 91 Pace).
Verdict: Skip. It costs 50k and limits the truly broken combinations. Unless you have a specific silver/gold striker you are emotionally attached to, this is poor value.
Royal Winger (20,000 Coins / 150 FC Points)
Upgrades: +10 OVR (Max 88), +10 Pace, +15 Crossing.
The Play: Designed for RM/LM players.
Verdict: Pass. The "Max 77 Defending" requirement kills the potential to make a cracked wing-back. It’s just an okay Evo that most players will likely ignore. Save the 20k.

TOTW 19: Mbeumo and Rabiot are the ones to watch.
