Promo takeaways

  • Best Card: Hakan Çalhanoğlu (87 CDM) is the one to look for. He’s got great stats across the board, and more importantly, he comes with the Incisive+ Playstyle. His 77 pace is low, but as a deep-lying playmaker, he’s a beast.

  • Average Picks: Álvaro Carreras (86 LB) has good face-card stats, but the lack of a Playstyle+ is a big drawback for a promo-level card. He's usable, but not a game-changer. The same goes for Antony (85 RM) — fun, but nothing special.

  • Disappointing: The headliner, Declan Rice (88 CM). The stats are good, and his gold card is solid, but for an 88-rated special card to have no Playstyle+ is a massive disappointment.

Friday Promo Preview: UEFA Prime Time

This is the big one. We knew it was a live promo, but the leaks are confirming it will be insane. Expect 60+ players in packs, live overall upgrades, Playstyle+ upgrades, new Showdown SBCs, and Moments cards.

Here are the players leaked and revealed so far:

  • Leaked Heroes: Get ready for a new batch of Heroes, including Eden Hazard (89 LM), Daniele De Rossi (87 CDM), Míchel Salgado (86 RB), and Ludovic Giuly (88 RM).

  • Leaked/Revealed Players: We're also getting a ton of current stars. Early reveals include Éder Militão (87 CB), Anthony Gordon (87 LW), and Felix Nmecha (86 CDM). Other leaks point to William Saliba (88 CB) and Estêvão (86 RW).

This promo is going to flood the market.

SBC Spotlight

We've got a fresh batch of SBCs to drain our clubs. Here's the verdict on the new six:

  • Ona Batlle (Scream): (87 RB/LB/RM++, ~55K Coins) — MUST DO. This is a 10/10 SBC and provides unbelievable value. You get an elite, multi-position fullback with perfect Barça/Spain links and the Jockey+ Playstyle. Plus, she has 99 Dribbling right now with the boost. A must-complete.

  • 84+ Campaign Mix Upgrade: (~21K Coins) — Worth a Gamble. At this price, it's a cheap lottery ticket. It's a pure gamble, yes, but for 20k, you have a decent shot at packing something from a past promo. Worth a try if you have low-rated fodder.

  • 2x 84+ Upgrade: (~9K Coins) — SKIP. This is a trap. 9.1k for two 84+ players is terrible value. You're essentially trading an 83-rated squad for two 84s. Don't waste your fodder.

  • Juan Portillo (Showdown): (84 LB/CDM/CB++, ~34K Coins) — HARD SKIP. Poor links to the Argentine league and just okay stats. He's not good enough for a starting 11, even if he gets the upgrade. Pass.

  • Edinson Cavani (Showdown): (84 ST++, ~54K Coins) — HARD SKIP. Almost 54k for a card with 3* Skills/3* Weak Foot and difficult links is awful. He's a super sub at best and not worth the price.

People are selling their teams, scared of the market crash when the 60+ player Prime Time promo hits on Friday.

The Fodder Split: This is the key. The market is splitting into two.

  • Falling: High-rated fodder (84-86 OVR) and Icons are dropping with the rest of the meta market.

  • Rising: Low-rated fodder (81-83 OVR) is spiking up.

Hold / Sell Strategy:

  • SELL: Sell your 81, 82, and 83-rated fodder immediately into this hype.

  • BUY: This is the dip. Buy your 84-86 rated fodder now while it's low. Buy any meta-gold or Icon players you want for your team, as the market is scared.

  • HOLD: Hold the 84-86 fodder you just bought and wait for the Prime Time promo to drop a must-do SBC.

Evolutions – Spell of the Dribbler (30,000 Coins or 400 FC)

A new Evolution is here, and it's built for your center-mids.

Requirements: Max 80 OVR, Max 80 Pace, Position: CM.

Upgrades: This is a massive +10 OVR boost (to 85), with +15 Pace, +20 Finishing, +15 Dribbling, +15 Composure, and adds the Deep-Lying Playmaker++ and Power Shot PlayStyles.

Best Candidates: Popular choices include Sergio Busquets, Andrey Santos, Warren Zaïre-Emery, and Franck Kessié.

Final Take: It's an okay pick. The 30k price is a little high compared to some past EVOs. If you missed a better, cheaper CM evo, this is a decent option. Otherwise, it's not a must-do.
