That's right, the Scream promo is in the past, and it’s left behind one of the biggest market crashes we've seen all season. For anyone holding low-to-mid-tier gold cards, you're probably feeling the pain right now.
But this is Ultimate Team, and the content never stops. We're now stepping into new promo territory. We have leaks for a brand-new live promo, a fresh set of TOTW 8 players on the way, and a new batch of Evolutions and SBCs that are demanding your fodder. Let's break down everything you need to know for the start of your week.
Promo & Event Updates
TOTW 8 Leaks & Predictions
Team of the Week 8 is expected to land on Wednesday, and the leaks are already pointing to a few solid headliners. After a weekend of big performances, here are the names we're expecting to see:
Mike Maignan (88 GK): A huge boost for the AC Milan keeper.
Konrad Laimer (86 RB): A massive card for Bayern and Bundesliga squads.
Ismaïla Sarr (85 CAM): A pacey, creative option from Crystal Palace.
Other Notables: We're also expecting to see an 83 LB Álvaro Carreras and an 83 CAM Gómez.
Promo Leak: UEFA Prime Time
With Ultimate Scream gone, the next promo is expected to be UEFA Prime Time. This appears to be a new live promo, meaning the cards will be upgraded based on real-world performance.
Based on the leaked card designs, the upgrade path for these Prime Time players will be tied directly to their club's and their own performance in the Champions League. We're expecting boosts for:

Individual Goals/Assists/Clean Sheets
Team Finishing in the Top 8 (presumably of the league phase)

Scream Tournament
For the No Money Spent grinders, the Scream Tournament is live now. This is a pure grind, but the rewards are excellent. It's a tiered objective list, so you earn more as you play more.
Key Rewards:
84 RM Gory: You'll get this card just for scoring at least one goal in 15 separate matches.
85 RM/CM Isi: To get Isi, you need to complete the full objective list, which includes tasks like scoring in 25 separate matches, scoring a brace in 5 matches, and scoring one long-range goal.
Along the way, you'll also earn EVO consumables (like a CDM Box-to-Box and a Power Shot+), a badge, and an item shell for winning the tournament. Get started on this, as it's a long haul.
SBC Spotlight
We've got a new batch of SBCs to review, and frankly, some of them are just terrible value.
Marcus Rashford (86 ST/RW Player Pick, ~258K) — A big no. This SBC is awful value. As you'll see in the EVO section, the "Curse of the Left" Evolution costs 25k and gives you an almost identical card for 10 times cheaper. Do not waste your fodder on this.
Max. 88 Base Icon Upgrade (~206K) — Maybe. This is a pure gamble, as always. If you are sitting on a mountain of untradeable fodder, do it to roll the dice. The best pulls are guys like Bale, Thuram, Ferdinand, and Vieira, but you're just as likely to get an 87-rated duplicate.
Ghoulkeeper SBC (~2.5K) — Do it. This is just a cheap puzzle SBC that rewards a Premium Gold Pack.
Romelu Lukaku (85 CAM, ~24.3K) — Meh. The stats are just okay. While Lukaku has always been a meta card and new evolutions can help turn him into a beast, this card itself is uninspiring. It's probably a no unless you're a huge fan or have a specific EVO path in mind.
Edna Imade (85 ST, ~24.3K) — Stay away. 3-star Skill Moves and 3-star Weak Foot, combined with difficult Nigerian links, make this a hard pass. There are much better options available.

Market Overview: This is a total reset. The supply from Ultimate Scream packs, combined with a lack of major SBCs requiring these specific cards, has tanked their value.
Buy: If you've been waiting to build your starter squad, now is the time.
Sell Fodder: While these cards are crashing, high-rated fodder (85+) is slowly rising due to the Icon and Rashford SBCs. Sell any high-rated fodder you're holding into the hype.
Hold: Don't panic-sell your main team. This crash is primarily hitting the "starter squad" meta. High-end Icons and promo cards are holding their value much better.
Evolutions
Three new Evolutions dropped, and the verdicts are clear.
Portuguese Backline Titan (20k Coins or 300 FC Points)
Verdict: Good Evo. This is a solid, cheap upgrade for your center-backs. It improves physicality and defensive powers. Fikayo Tomori is one of the most popular and effective players to use this on.
Curse of the Left (25k Coins or 350 FC Points)
Verdict: Very effective. This is a great upgrade for LWs and the main reason to skip the Rashford SBC. You can apply this to Gold Rashford, Doku, or Pedro Neto for a fraction of the cost.
World Tour (35k Coins or 200 FC Points)
Verdict: Crap. Don't waste your coins.
