The leaks are out for Team of the Week 21, and if the predictions hold true, we are looking at some very usable red picks for your Champions rewards. It looks like a defensive-heavy lineup, but with some serious pace injections in the right places.
Here are the headliners you need to look out for:
Nuno Mendes (88 LB): A speed demon for Ligue 1 squads. 97 Pace is no joke. Combined with 84 Dribbling, he’s essentially a winger playing defense. A massive upgrade for PSG links.
Ibrahima Konaté (88 CB): Liverpool’s wall at the back. With 79 Pace and 88 Defending, he is going to be a nightmare to get past. If he gets the right playstyles, he enters top-tier meta territory.
Bremer (87 CB): Another solid Serie A defensive option. 84 Pace on a CB is elite, though his passing (60) leaves a lot to be desired. A pure destroyer.
Carnesecchi (87 GK): Keepers are keepers, but an 87-rated Italian GK is good fodder if nothing else.
Caroline Weir (87 CAM): Technical and smooth on the ball with 87 Dribbling and Passing, though 77 Pace might hurt her viability in higher divisions.
Honorable Mentions:
Casemiro (86 CDM): Good defending (86), but 79 Pace is borderline for a CDM in February.
Noni Madueke (86 RM): 94 Pace. A cheap beast super-sub option if you miss out on the big guns.
Objectives Grind: Ultimate Gauntlet 10
The Gauntlet is back, and for the No Money Spent (NMS) grinders, this is non-negotiable. It’s a tiered system: the more you play, the more you eat. EA has been stingy lately, but this objective set actually pays out well for just playing the game.

We have a mountain of SBCs today. Let's separate the meta from the mid.
Kika Nazareth Future Stars (88 LW, ~150k) — Complete. This is the star of the drop. With 5-star skills, 4-star weak foot, and 90 Pace/Dribbling, she fits the meta perfectly as a nimble winger or CAM. Amazing value for under 200k that you absolutely should not skip.
Yan Diomande Future Stars (88 LM, ~77k) — Complete. 92 Pace and 90 Dribbling for roughly 77k is a steal. He plays well above his stats and is a fantastic budget option or super sub for any squad.
Alessandro Del Piero Icon (91 CAM, ~903k) — Pass. He is class with the 5/5 combo and Finesse Shot+, but nearly 1 million coins is a massive sink. His 85 pace is low for this stage of the game, making him a luxury trap unless you have infinite fodder.
Dayot Upamecano Flashback (89 CB, ~387k) — Maybe. A physical monster with 89 Defending and the crucial Anticipate playstyle. It's fair value, but nearly 400k is a commitment; only complete if you need a Bundesliga wall.
Liga F POTM Athenea (87 RW, ~74k) — Skip. While 91 Pace looks nice, the rest of the card is strictly mid-tier. She lacks the physical presence (30 Defending, 79 Physical) to compete, and better options exist for this price.
88+ Encore Icon Upgrade (~295k) — Gamble. Includes Thunderstruck, Unbreakables, and Winter Wildcards. Only touch this if you have duplicate untradeable fodder burning a hole in your club; otherwise, save your resources for guaranteed players like Kika.

Requirements: Max 87 Overall, Max 1 PlayStyle+, GK position, Born after 2002.
Upgrades: Massive +25 Overall, +35 Diving, +35 Reflexes, +30 Kicking.
The Play: This transforms a bronze/silver keeper into an 88-rated beast. Popular choices include Restes, Lammens, and Suzuki.
Verdict: GOOD VALUE. For 10k, getting an 88-rated keeper is solid, especially if it helps you link a specific league or nation. Plus, the born after requirement is a fun twist.
