What is up, FUTcast crew!
We are halfway through the week, and EA is not letting us breathe. TOTW 27 just dropped into packs, injecting some much-needed juice into our red picks and tradeable rewards. But let's be real — the eyes of the FUT world are already glued to Friday.
The leaks for the upcoming Festival of Football promo are pouring in, and spoiler alert: it is about to completely nuke the market. On top of that, we’ve got a handful of new SBCs trying to drain your club, a pricey new Evolution to dissect, and some massive market shifts you need to capitalize on before the weekend.
Grab your coffee, fire up the Web App, and let’s dive into the absolute best (and worst) of what EA dropped today.
Promo & Event Updates
Team Of the Week 27
The newest squad of in-forms has landed. While there's some serious top-end talent to chase, it's definitely a mixed bag when it comes to the lower tier.
Raphinha (91 LW): Crazy pace + dribbling. He is a very meta winger right now and the undisputed crown jewel of this TOTW.
Bruno Fernandes (89 CAM): Elite CAM. His shooting and passing combo is top-tier for any Premier League squad.
Amaia Sarriegi (88 ST): A very well-rounded ST. She's incredibly underrated but absolutely deadly inside the box.
João Félix (87 CAM/ST): Smooth dribbling and a super fun CAM/ST option for cheap. A great linkable card.
Anthony Gordon (87 LW): Pure pace merchant winger. Super usable if you need a budget runner down the line.
Isak Hansen-Aarøen (87 ST): Nice stats for the price. A solid, fun attacker option if you want to switch things up.
Vitinha (85 CM): Too weak physically for the current midfield meta.
Conor Coady (85 CB): Way too slow for a CB right now.
Pierluigi Gollini (85 GK): Low-tier GK cards like this are just not worth looking at.
Promo Takeaways
Top Performers: Raphinha is the ultimate chase card here, offering pure endgame wing play. Bruno Fernandes is fantastic if you need a pure playmaker, and Amaia Sarriegi is a phenomenal, sleeper-hit striker.
Budget Beasts: Félix and Gordon are your go-to guys if you are building on a budget. They provide great links and super usable pace and dribbling for a fraction of the cost.
Avoid: Proceed with extreme caution on the lower-rated 85s like Vitinha, Coady, and Gollini. They are miles behind the power curve — throw them straight into your SBCs.
Promo Leaks: Festival of Football
The leaks are flooding the timeline for Friday, and Festival of Football looks like an absolute monster of a promo. With the World Cup taking place in the USA this summer, this campaign focuses on international football, specifically targeting players fighting for their spot on the plane or in the starting XI.
Best of all? These are live items, meaning they are eligible for upgrades over time based on real-world factors.
Here are the biggest leaked headliners:
Jude Bellingham & Julian Alvarez: Two elite active-player headliners primed for serious boosts.
Ryan Gravenberch & Nico Williams: Massive meta cards that will dictate the game for months.
Other Notables: Harry Maguire, Leroy Sane, Grimaldo, David Raya, and Joao Neves.
More Players: Mateo Kovacic, N'Golo Kante, Xavi Simmons, and Sandro Tonali.
Verdict: This is going to be a phenomenal promo. With dynamic upgrades on the line for international performances, cards like Bellingham and Alvarez are absolute chase items, while the rest of the squad will heavily dictate the high-end market.

SBC Spotlight
We have a few SBCs live today, heavily focused on gambles and mid-tier players. Let's look at what's worth your hard-earned fodder:
1 of 4 88+ Campaign Mix Player Pick (98k): Gamble. This gives you a shot at some solid promo cards from the past few weeks. Only do this if your club is overflowing with untradeable 83s and 84s and you want to roll the dice.
89+ FUT Birthday Team 2 Guarantee (30k): Gamble. Unless you have duplicate high-rated fodder burning a hole in your unassigned pile, avoid this. The pack weight on these is usually brutal, and you're likely walking away with a discard promo card.
Kingsley Coman (88 LW, 65k): Okay Value. A cheap SBC with decent stats, however, he won't fit into most starting 11s right now in the game. It's an okay SBC, but not really worth doing if you want him as a genuine starter.
Gonçalo Ramos (87 ST, 35k): Hard Pass. Very cheap SBC, however, not that good. The stats are okay, but he isn't worth doing and won't fit into most competitive teams.
Ligue 1 POTM February (Ajorque, 34k): L SBC. Very cheap, but a complete waste of fodder. Poor links plus completely worthless at this stage of the game cycle.
Cheapest Solution For Kingsley Coman

Market Watch
Market Summary: The market is shaking right now! With the massive Festival of Football leaks dropping, panic selling on meta golds and previous promo cards has officially begun. Players are liquidating their squads to afford the crazy cards coming on Friday.
Fodder Shift: Low-tier fodder is climbing! The demand from the Campaign Mix Pick and the 89+ Guarantee is heavily draining the 83-86 ranges. Meanwhile, high-rated fodder (88-90) has dipped slightly and is holding steady as people wait for a massive player SBC.
Strategy: SELL your 83, 84, and 85-rated fodder right now into the SBC hype. You are cashing out at the peak. LIQUIDATE any tradeable meta cards you are holding; their prices will absolutely crater when the Festival of Football loading screen drops and Lightning Rounds hit the store on Friday. Hold your 88+ fodder until a top-tier player SBC drops this weekend.
Evolutions
We have a brand-new, paid Evolution today:
Party at the Back (75,000 Coins or 350 FC Points)
Requirements: CBs mainly, Max 84 OVR.
Upgrades: Massive boosts to Defending and Physicality, solid Pace upgrades, and grants elite defensive PlayStyles.
Verdict: This is a steep asking price. At 75k coins, you are paying a premium. This is only worth doing if you are running a specific theme team or have a club legend you desperately want to bring up to the power curve. Otherwise, save your 75k for Friday's market crash.
Quick Hits
TOTW 27 is live: Raphinha (91) and Bruno Fernandes (89) are the absolute top-tier pulls this week.
Friday Leaks: Festival of Football: Answer the Call arrives Friday. It's a World Cup-themed live promo headlined by Bellingham, Alvarez, and Gravenberch.
SBCs: Skip Ramos and Ajorque. Coman is okay but not a starter. Only do the Gamble Picks if you have duplicate untradeables.
Market Move: Sell your 84-86 fodder into the SBC hype, and liquidate your tradeable meta squads before the massive Friday crash.
Evos: Party at the Back is live for 75k, but mostly worth it for theme-team builders only.
That’s the playbook for your Wednesday, folks!
Grind out those menus, hold your high-tier packs, and get your coin balances ready for the live-card chaos dropping on Friday.
