TOTW 22 Leaks & Predictions

The leaks for Team of the Week 22 are out, and it looks like EA is finally injecting some real power into the weekly inform cycle. We aren't just seeing fodder here; there are legitimate options that can challenge the current power curve.

  • Ousmane Dembélé (91 ST): The headliner. With 92 Pace, 94 Dribbling, and 5-star skills, he is an elite-tier striker option. Moving him centrally makes him even more valuable.

  • Viktor Gyökeres (89 ST): The goal machine. 92 Pace and 93 Physicality make him a tank. He will bully defenders in the box, though his 88 Shooting suggests he needs a chemistry style to be clinical.

  • Kadidiatou Diani (89 RW): A fantastic winger option with 93 Pace and 89 Dribbling. She remains one of the best options for French hybrids.

  • Cole Palmer (89 CAM): A massive boost for the Englishman. 89 Passing and 89 Dribbling make him a premier playmaker, although 83 Pace means he is strictly a central player.

  • Luis Díaz (88 LM): The dribbler’s choice. 91 Pace and 90 Dribbling make him slippery on the flank, though 78 Physicality means he can be pushed off the ball.

  • Rasmus Højlund (86 ST): A lower-rated beast. 92 Pace and 89 Physicality are great stats for an 86-rated card.

Promo Update: Knockout Royalty

Get your club ready for Friday. The whispers were true — the next promo is Knockout Royalty.

Think of this as the spiritual successor to Road to the Final (RTTF). It features players who have qualified for the knockout stages of UEFA tournaments (UCL, UEL, UECL). If it follows the traditional live card formula, these cards will upgrade as their teams advance through the tournament. The market usually panics before live cards drop, so keep your liquid coins ready.

Objectives Grind: FC Pro Leagues

A new objective set is live focusing on the FC Pro ecosystem. This is a standard watch and play style grind, but the rewards are decent for replenishing your club after the weekend.

  • The Grind: Watch the LaLiga FC Pro Broadcasts (Feb 11 & 12) on Twitch/YouTube with your accounts linked.

  • The Rewards:

SBC Spotlight

We have a heavy rotation of SBCs today ranging from high-end Icons to value players. Here is where your fodder should go:

  • Cafu (92 RB, ~725k) — Complete. This is an endgame right-back. He is expensive, but he locks down that position. 92 Pace, 90 Defending, and high stamina make him elite. The only downside is he has only 1 PlayStyle+, but his raw stats make up for it.

  • Dani Olmo (89 CAM, ~215k) — Maybe. A Flashback celebrating his Future Stars days. 91 Dribbling and 4-star/4-star are solid, but 84 Pace and 70 Physicality are behind the curve. He feels expensive for what he offers compared to other CAMs.

  • Yéremy Pino (88 RM, ~60k) — Skip. He is very fast (95 Pace) with good dribbling (89), but 66 Physicality and average shooting make him a super sub at best. There are tradeable cards for cheaper that do the same job.

  • Francesco Pio Esposito (88 ST, ~29k) — Value. If you need a cheap Serie A striker, he’s a 29k bargain. 88 Pace and 90 Shooting are great for the price, but he’s likely fodder or a objective card for most teams.

The market is flying. Everything is going up quickly. We are seeing a massive rise across the board as players buy teams for the upcoming Weekend League and complete the high-demand Cafu and Icon SBCs.

  • Buying: You missed the bottom. Prices are up significantly (Index 100 is at 54.95). If you need meta cards, be careful buying right now as they are at a peak.

  • Selling: This is a seller's market. If you are sitting on tradeable fodder or meta cards, list them immediately. Everything is going up quickly.

  • Avoid: Panic buying. The market momentum is extremely high, which usually precedes a correction.

Evolutions

The Prince from Arenys (45,000 Coins / 300 FC Points)

  • Upgrades: +11 Overall, +10 Pace, +10 Shooting, +10 Defending, +15 Agility.

  • The Play: This Evo is designed for creative midfielders. It fits players like Kenan Yıldız (88 CAM), Dominik Szoboszlai (88 CM), and Ethan Nwaneri (88 RM).

Verdict: Pass (mostly). It’s a very costly Evo (45k) with strict requirements. While the +11 boost looks huge on paper, unless you have a specific wonderkid like Yildiz or Nwaneri you want to boost to 88 rated, it's better to save your coins.
