Team Of The Week 21

The new batch of in-forms is live. It’s a decent week for Premier League fans and Serie A defenders, but there is plenty of fodder cluttering the lower ratings.

  • Bremer (87 CB): The standout defender. High physicals and great defensive awareness make him a wall for Serie A squads.

  • Dominic Solanke (87 ST): A decent rating boost for the Spurs man. He’s putting in performances IRL, but in FUT, he lacks the raw pace to be top-tier.

  • Hugo Ekitiké (87 ST): One of the speedsters of the week. With 90 Pace and a brace against Newcastle, he’s a fun, rapid option for Liverpool/Prem hybrids.

  • Kerolin Nicoli (87 RM): Great dribbling and speed make her a nuisance on the wing.

  • Noni Madueke (85 CAM): Don't sleep on the rating. He is blistering fast (93 Pace) for a CAM and offers great links.

  • Casemiro (86 CDM): Unfortunately, he is behind the power curve. With 80 Pace, he is just too slow for the current midfield meta.

Promo Takeaways

  • Best Cards: Bremer is a legitimate beast in defense, and Ekitiké offers that rapid threat everyone hates facing.

  • Value: Madueke is a budget gem if you need speed in the middle of the park.

  • Trash: Casemiro and Solanke are fodder at this stage. Most of the 83-84 rated cards are simply pack fillers with stats too low for competitive play.

Promo Leaks: Future Stars Team 2

The Icons and Wonderkids Are Coming

The leaks for Friday are out, and Future Stars Team 2 is looking absolutely stacked. We are seeing a mix of massive Icons and current wonderkids that will reshape the meta.

  • Pelé (96 CAM): The King. 95 Shooting, 95 Dribbling. This card will be extinct or cost millions. It’s the ultimate chase card.

  • Camille Abily (92 CM): A Gullit-gang Icon with 90+ in Passing, Dribbling, and Shooting. She looks like a midfield engine.

  • Dennis Bergkamp (92 ST): Finally, a Bergkamp card that might be usable? 92 Shooting and 92 Dribbling suggest he’ll be lethal in the box.

  • Gareth Bale (91 RW): The Welsh dragon returns with 98 Pace. He is going to be a nightmare to defend against down the wing.

  • Eden Hazard (90 LW): A nostalgia trip with 93 Pace and 93 Dribbling. The dribbling mechanics on this card should be silky smooth.

  • Other notables: Fermín López (91 CAM), Nico Paz (90 CAM), and Dean Huijsen (90 CB) are the standout current players getting massive upgrades.

SBC Spotlight

We have a mixed bag of SBCs today. Here is the verdict on where your fodder should go:

  • Momoko Tanikawa (88 CAM, ~49K) — Situational. The stats are undeniable: 90 Shooting, 90 Passing, and the Finesse Shot PlayStyle+ make her a threat. However, the links (Japan/Frauen-Bundesliga) are tough. If you can link her, she’s a steal at this price. If not, she’s hard to fit.

  • Etta Eyong (88 ST, ~51K) — Pass. While 90 Pace is nice, this is a below-average SBC for the current stage of the game. There are much better tradeable strikers available for 50k. Don't lock your coins into this.

  • 1 of 3 87+ Campaign Mix Player Pick (~91K) — Gamble. These packs are notoriously high-risk. At 90k, you are praying for a big promo pull, but you are just as likely to pull an outdated 87-rated promo card. Only do this if you have duplicate fodder you need to burn.

  • Future Stars Team 1 Upgrade (~22K) — Worth a punt. It’s cheap. For 22k, you get a shot at the Team 1 players. It's a low-risk lottery ticket that could pay off if you hit one of the big names.

  • Risers: Low-to-mid tier fodder is exploding. Index 82 is up 7.80% and Index 84 is up 7.21%. The upgrade SBCs and daily content are draining the supply of these cards.

  • Strategy: SELL your 82-84s. If you have tradeable low-rated golds sitting in your club, list them now. You are selling into a massive spike. Don't hold them for more profit — take the coins now while demand is peak.

  • Requirements: Max 87 OVR, Max 92 Pace, Max 89 Dribbling.

  • Rewards: +2 Overall (up to 88), +7 Passing, +3 Shooting, +3 Dribbling.

  • PlayStyles: Incisive Pass, Tiki Taka.

  • Verdict: Pass. 30k coins for a +7 Passing boost and some PlayStyles is terrible value. The requirements are strict, and unless you have a very specific card you are chain-evolving, this will be passed by most players. Save your coins for Friday.
